Adopt an animal

Becky & Elfin

Age: 7 years & 4 years oldSex: FemaleBreed: Cocker SpanielAdoption fee: £200.00 each

Becky and Elfin came to the centre via an inspector after being found living in absolutely deplorable conditions, conditions no dog should ever have to face. They were both emaciated and Becky was so matted, Elfin was so poorly that she had to remain at the vets on a drip. Thankfully she pulled through and was reunited with Becky where they have continued to improve no end.

Both Becky and Elfin have put weight on and slowly started to trust people again, due to their neglect and abuse they are quite nervous when meeting new people. Once they have built up that bond with you they are the sweetest, cuddliest and loveliest dogs you could wish for. Potential adopters will need to be understanding of their past and give them lots of time and patience, they may need to do a few visits before adoption to get used to each other. They will need continued rehabilitation when in their new home to get them used to the outside world again.

After all these girls have been through, they really do deserve to be in a loving home with a family who will help them overcome their insecurities, to let them finally see the world as a spaniel and live life to the max.

Becky and Elfin will need an adult only home where someone is at home most of the time.
