Adopt an animal

Benji

Age: 4.5 years oldSex: MaleBreed: Staffy CrossAdoption fee: £200.00

Benji is a sweet boy who came to the centre via an inspector. Benji was seized by police and Inspectors after he was seen getting physically abused by his previous owner. Poor Benji has been through more than any dog should ever have to experience, his past abuse has understandably left him feeling very nervous and cautious around people he does not know or trust. Once Benji knows you and has built a bond with you he really is a smashing boy, he absolutely loves his belly rubs and playing fetch in our compounds. He loves going for his walks and makes the most of every single second while he is out and about. He likes to keep himself to himself while out on a walk so his adopters will need to bare this in mind and keep him safe.

Benji will need adopters who will understand all that Benji has been through and give him the help he needs to build his confidence and trust so he remembers people are not all that bad after all. Benji is a fun loving boy who really loves time with his people, he is loving, loyal and extremely affectionate. He really will be the best friend you could wish for, he is now looking forward to a bright future with a family who will take him on lots of adventures, give him lots of love and make up for lost time.

Benji's adopters will need to meet with the centres behaviourist before adoption to give him the best chance in his new home. He could possibly live with a female dog after a successful introduction at the centre and will need an adult only home.
