Adopt an animal

Max

Age: 13 years approxSex: MaleBreed: German Shepherd

Found their forever home!

Max came to the centre as an unclaimed stray and is your typical definition of a gentle giant, he is a really kind and gentle boy. Although on the older side, Max is still absolutely loving life, he loves to be around people getting lots of fuss and attention. He still enjoys getting out and about ( even though it is at a slower pace ) and gets super excited when it is his turn for a walk. He is so happy for his little walk, he can not help himself and be a little vocal, telling us all how much he is loving being out. Max walks well on the lead and is generally pretty social with other dogs.

Max can only manage short walks so he would be best suited to adopters who can take him out for a couple of short walks, he would need his own enclosed garden where he can sit out and enjoy the sun. Max just needs a nice retirement home where he can see out the rest of his days just relaxing and chilling out.

Max is suitable to live with another older calm dog after a successful introduction at the centre, he can live with children aged 12 years and over. Max is currently on medication for his stiff joints and an ear cleaner to keep his ears clean and healthy.
