I know how to sit (and lots of other commands too!)
Scooby
Age: 2 years old approxSex: MaleBreed: German Shepherd CrossAdoption fee: £200.00
Scooby is a sweet but nervous guy who came to the centre via the local stray dog service. Scooby is an extremely intelligent dog with a very active mind, he is very responsive to his handlers when they are getting him to engage when learning new things. Scooby totally relies on his people to keep his brain active and working, he would love adopters who will keep him both physically and mentally stimulated. Scooby is at his happiest when he has a job to do, he would be best suited to an equally active home where adopters will take him on exciting adventures.
Scooby will need adopters who are experienced with dogs who have a nervous side and rely on their people to keep them safe and make the right choices. Scooby is an extremely affectionate, loving and loyal dog who will make the person lucky enough to adopt him the absolute best friend they could wish for. He loves his toys and is learning that sharing is great fun, he is also working on his recall so adopters will need to carry on this training with him.
Scooby's adopters will have the opportunity to meet with the centres behaviourist before adoption. Scooby could potentially live with a compatible dog after a successful introduction at the centre. Potential adopters will need to commit to as many meets as necessary to build a bond with Scooby before taking him home. He will need an adult only home with a secure garden.
