I’d love to learn agility or fly ball
Scrappy
Age: 8 months oldSex: MaleBreed: Poodle CrossbreedAdoption fee: £200.00
Scrappy came to the centre as his previous owner could no longer keep him, he is a lovely lad but has unfortunately missed out on so much before coming to the centre.
Scrappy is a young, busy dog who enjoys human affection. He is a keen learner who is very intelligent and will benefit from ongoing training and mental stimulation. Scrappy would enjoy obedience, agility, scent work however he has missed out on a large amount of early learning opportunities and therefore can be cautious of unfamiliar things in his environment. This presents as barking. He will need adopters who are prepared to continue building his confidence slowly and who understands the importance of not overwhelming him. We are looking for adopters who are experienced and willing to do regular training with him.
Potential adopters will need to commit to carrying out multiple meets with Scrappy and will be required to meet with our behaviourist to discuss his current training program and ongoing needs. Scrappy has so much potential to be the most amazing addition to the right adopters family.
Scrappy could possibly live with an older, sociable dog after successful introductions at the centre, he will need someone that is home most of the time and will need an adult only home.
My personality...
I need teaching that it’s ok to be alone
I need an adult only home
I’m a bright spark
I may be able to live with another dog
I love food and treats
