It’s time to put the “fun” back in fundraising… if you donate £10 to the animals at York, Harrogate and District RSPCA, we’ll draw your pet. The catch? The staff at the animal home are a whole lot better at caring for animals than we are at drawing them ?

For an extra £5 we can also add your personal message to the bottom of the creation, or the side or the top, there’s no limits to our creativity, and we promise to use our best handwriting for this. 

We have a pool of ‘crack’ volunteers standing by with sharpened crayons and coloured pencils, eager to turn your animal into a timeless work of art (or at least make you laugh).  There will be no attention to detail and you may not even recognise your pet from the drawing… There is a very slim possibility (amost nil) that your pet will be drawn by one of our extremely talented artists, but we’ll be honest… you’ll probably get someone who is hopelessly lacking in artistic ability. 

TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS:

Simply donate £10 to York, Harrogate & District RSPCA click via our Justgiving page.  Include your pet’s first name and your surname as reference, (choose the friends and family option please) and email a picture of your pet to BadlyDrawnPets@rspca-yorkhome.org.uk, again using your pet’s first name and your surname as reference. The reference is important as it enables us to match up your photo and payment. Just imagine if you received a portrait that you just didn’t recognise… Oh wait…. If you've paid extra for a message, please also include the wording in your email.

Once we’ve had confirmation of your payment and we have received your photo by email, our team will then work their magic and we will reply by email with a picture of your homemade ‘unique’ masterpiece as soon as we can. Please bear with us; it will be a minimum of a week before you hear from us. Original pictures will be available for collection from Landing Lane once the current restrictions are lifted. 

There’s no limit to how many drawings you can purchase; the more donations we receive, the more we can support animals in our community! Of course, if you feel compelled to give more than asked, we’d be so grateful for your generosity. Our supporters are truly the best! 

The really brilliant thing about this is that you can buy a ‘portrait’ (using that term loosely) as a gift for a friend or family. We can’t think of anything we’d rather receive.

We can promise nothing other than to make no apologies for our badly drawn your pets will be!
