Adopt an animal from us
Can you give one of our animals their forever home? Dogs, cats and small animals - take a look at who's waiting to meet you.
Helping us
It costs our branch over £1 million to keep our doors open each year. Some people want to help our animal welfare work by leaving a gift in their will. This is an easy way to help local animals in distress and help you maintain the service for future years.
It is very important that you specify that the gift should be bequeathed to the RSPCA York, Harrogate & District Branch so that local animals will benefit from your generosity. If you want to leave a gift in your will to our branch, it is very important you use the wording below, otherwise your gift will go to the National RSPCA.
If it is your wish to leave a gift in your will please clearly indicate your wishes by using the wording detailed on the right hand side:
I give the sum of ________ (or specify a share of residue) to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals York, Harrogate and District Branch (registered charity number 232222) and I declare that the receipt of the honorary treasurer or other proper officer of the said Branch shall be a full and sufficient discharge of the said legacy.

From donations to volunteering, we need help to care for the animals that are brought to us, for so many different reasons.
